Open Doors Production Residency

Ágora Cultural Architects is pleased to announce the Open Doors Performing Arts Residency at Croma Space!

This residency is designed to support performing artists in presenting new or existing work to Boston’s audiences, providing essential resources such as: venue space and technical, production and marketing support.

The selected performing artists will work with Agora Cultural Architect’s consultants to program, produce, promote, and present their project as part of Croma Space seasons (from September 2025 to June 2026).

The Production Residency Package will include venue access for five dates at CROMA between January and March of 2026, dress rehearsal time, two additional rehearsal sessions, and a public performance (solo or shared). We will also provide support with the following: front-of-house, ticketing, marketing/PR assistance, technical coordination, sound equipment, and one-on-one consultations in marketing, PR, and production.

The selection criteria will consist of the following:

  • The project's suitability for CROMA's technical and physical capabilities

  • The project’s readiness to be presented within the residency timeframe

  • The project's scope and feasibility given the available resources.
